Cambridge Open Studios

It's almost that time of year again, it comes around so quickly!

For the four weekends in July, starting on July 4th / 5th, artists around the Cambridge area (and beyond) will be throwing open their doors and welcoming visitors to their studios.

It's a great chance to meet the artists and chat about their work. With the help of the Cambridge Open Studios 2009 Guide (available from the website and from selected outlets around the county) you can plan your visits to a number of artists galleries and studios using their very handy map.

Nikki Simms Summer Exhibition 2009

Thought you might all like to know that Nikki Simms Summer Exhibition is currently being held at The Darryl Nantais Gallery in The High Street, Linton.

Running until 31st July 2009, this is your chance to see Nikki's work (along with another artist, Brian Seymour) in the flesh, and to purchase her originals.

New Artist Coming Soon!

Hi all, just wanted to let you know that we will be bringing a new artist to www.bigemptywall.com in the very near future. The final touches are just being put to her new listings and we hope to be able to set them live in the next week or two.

Also currently being listed are new images in the PhotoArt GB and Helen Proctor galleries. These will hopefully be going live at the time as the new artist.

June's Image Of The Month From Ed Munn

The image of the month for June is from Ed Munn and is his "OneLinerImage: Spinnerdolphins".

The colour of this mother and young spinner dolphin was chosen to represent the sea which is their element and in which they dive and turn in beautiful synchrony.
