Christmas Closing

Well, it's that time of year when thoughts turn to the Christmas break, mince pies, Christmas pudding and the odd glass of Brandy!

Both the office and production area at www.bigemptywall.com will be closing at 6pm on Wednesday 23rd December and opening up for business on Monday 4th January at 9am.

So please bear in mind that any orders placed during that period will not be processed until we return on the 4th.

May we take this opportunity to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a healthy and prosperous New Year.

Website Blip - Update

Once again, thanks for sticking with us during our recent website 'blip'. This was caused by some ongoing SEO work.

It seems that all is working now apart from some links from external sites not working.

Once you are on www.bigemptywall.com though everything is up and running.

We are currently working with our web hosts and designers to rectify the broken links from outside websites.

September Image Of The Month - Albert Robb

Making a late appearance as September's Image Of The Month is Albert Robbs' stunning Norfolk Coast image.

The photograph was taken at Bacton, Norfolk during a particularly stormy couple of days in the summer of 2006. The picture was taken when the tide was in, to gain maximum effect of the waves crashing against the sea defence.

Zoë Henderson has been a psychic / healer for many years. Having first attended art school she then went on her spiritual healing mission to help people and animals. She then began concentrating her efforts to express her spiritual healing, using an alternative platform of incorporating her healing into her paintings.

New Image Of The Month From Helen Proctor.

July see's Helen Proctor's "Glamour" as the image of the month.

Available in various sizes from 24" x 16" through to 54" x 36" there's a size to fit just about every wall space! Helen drew inspiration for this image from Ladies Day at Royal Ascot and it really does give the impression of a glamour and style and would be a welcome addition to any interior.

Cambridge Open Studios

It's almost that time of year again, it comes around so quickly!

For the four weekends in July, starting on July 4th / 5th, artists around the Cambridge area (and beyond) will be throwing open their doors and welcoming visitors to their studios.

It's a great chance to meet the artists and chat about their work. With the help of the Cambridge Open Studios 2009 Guide (available from the website and from selected outlets around the county) you can plan your visits to a number of artists galleries and studios using their very handy map.

The colour of this mother and young spinner dolphin was chosen to represent the sea which is their element and in which they dive and turn in beautiful synchrony.

Hailing from the North East of England, Margaret works mainly in pastels, charcoal and acrylics. We are very pleased to welcome Margaret to The Big Empty Wall and look forward to a long and fruitful partnership with her.
